Are
you trying to start your own online business? I am going to
outline 5 reasons why your affiliate marketing business might
fail. Avoid these 5 mistakes and you will much more likely
succeed.
1.) Not having a strategy.
You create a site, get your content upload it your web hosting and
then… No one comes to your site no one clicks your ad
sense ads no one buys your affiliate programs no one buys your 97
dollar ebook.
Without a game plan or strategy of how you are going to find a solution
to every problem such as how to get visitors. Which is a huge
mistake 99% of people make when creating a website. Don’t
just think people will come to your website just because it is not
going to happen.
If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.
2.) Getting distracted.
It is easy to get distracted by your email, new and ecxiting ebooks and
software, blog, you tube, the news, the wheather and verything else on
your computer screen.
Stay focused on your tasks you have to complete then go to youtube. Make a to-do list if you have to.
3.) Not following through with your plan.
Is your strategy changing day to day? You must stick to your
strategy and see it through. Now if this strategy is not working
you must change your strategy but first you must actually try it.
This seems obvious and somewhat strange. But you must realize
that if submitting your articles to article directories is your
strategy to get traffic you cannot just submit one article and except
10,000 visitors tomorrow. If you have written and submitted 15
articles and you have gotten 19 visitors in the last month, you might
want to make adjustments to your game plan.
4.) Being lazy.
You don’t really want to work for it. If you want to be
lazy do not try to start your own online business. If you want to
be lazy go work for someone else who will actually pay you to sit
around.
5.) Quitting to early.
Remember business as in life is not a sprint it’s a
marathon. You must continently work and take action on your
strategy. You must never quit and you will eventually succeed if
you realize your mistakes.
